Floral and silky-textured, the debut, very youthful 2019 vintage (5*) was hand-picked on a north-facing site behind the winery on Roys Hill. Blended with a splash of Viognier (5 per cent), it was matured for nearly two years in all-new French oak barriques. Deeply coloured, it has rich, plummy, spicy, slightly nutty flavours, complex, savoury and supple, and obvious potential for cellaring. Best drinking 2024+.
