The powerful 2021 vintage (4*) is described on the back label as 'Big and Brash', but it isn't especially so. Grown in Hawke's Bay and fermented and matured in 'bourbon barrels, straight from the distillery', it is a very easy-drinking wine, bright, light lemon/green, with mouthfilling body and ripe, youthful, peachy flavours, smooth and generous.
