The youthful 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked and matured for 10 months in French oak casks (16 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is mouthfilling and vibrantly fruity, with fresh, concentrated fruit flavours of cherries, plums and spices to the fore, and considerable complexity. A bold, very ageworthy red, it's well worth cellaring to 2023+.
