This single-vineyard wine is grown at Rapaura, on the northern side of the Wairau Valley, and fermented and matured in new and one-year-old French oak casks. The very youthful 2020 vintage (4.5*) shows obvious potential for cellaring. Weighty and fleshy, it has generous, ripe, peachy, slightly biscuity flavours, fresh, balanced acidity and excellent complexity. Best drinking 2023+.
