Stoneleigh Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (NV)

From Pernod Ricard NZ, this huge volume but typically satisfying wine flows from the stony, relatively warm Rapaura district of the Wairau Valley, which produces a ripe style of Sauvignon Blanc, yet retains good acidity and vigour. A top vintage of this label, the 2021 (4*) is fresh and vigorous, with mouthfilling body, good intensity of passionfruit/lime flavours and a basically dry (4.8 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Great value.
