Spy Valley Marlborough Pinot Gris (2021)

Already delicious, the bright lemon/green 2021 vintage (5*) was grown in the Southern Valleys (at Spy Valley's Johnson Estate vineyard and by 'friends'), and fermented in tanks and old oak vessels. Invitingly fragrant, it is weighty and fleshy, with rich, vibrant pear, peach and spice flavours, showing good complexity, gentle sweetness, and excellent depth and harmony. Best drinking 2023+.
