The youthful 2021 vintage (4.5*) was harvested (partly by hand) from mature vines at Renwick and biodynamically grown vines in the Churton Vineyard, in the Waihopai Valley. It was mostly tank-fermented, with small portions of the blend fermented in oak fuders. Weighty, with pure, delicate, tropical fruit flavours and gentle herbal notes, it shows good complexity, building to a dry, lengthy finish. It should be at its best mid-2022+.
