From a pioneer of Riesling in New Zealand, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) offers typically good value. Bright, light lemon/green, it is instantly attractive, with concentrated, vigorous lemon/apple flavours, peachy notes, a hint of honey, gentle sweetness (25 grams/litre of residual sugar), and a crisp, lingering finish. Well worth cellaring.
