Opawa Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (2021)

The attractive 2021 vintage (4*) was mostly handled in tanks; 6 per cent of the blend was fermented with indigenous yeasts in large oak cuves. Bright, light lemon/green, it is full-bodied and sweet-fruited, with strong, fresh, tropical-fruit flavours and a dry (3 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp finish. A youthful, vigorous wine, it should be at its best mid-2022+. (From Nautilus).
