Instantly appealing, the 2021 vintage (5*) was made from Pinot Noir, estate-grown at Bendigo and mostly handled in tanks; 5 per cent of the blend was fermented in seasoned oak barrels. Bright pink, it is fragrant and weighty, with watermelon-like flavours, revealing excellent delicacy and vibrancy, hints of strawberries, peaches and spices, and a basically dry (4.8 grams/litre of residual sugar), lingering finish.
