Misha's Vineyard The Gallery Central Otago Gewürztraminer (2021)

The classy, distinctive 2021 vintage (5*) is a single-vineyard wine, estate-grown at Bendigo and fully fermented (50 per cent with indigenous yeasts) in old French oak barrels. Finely perfumed, it's a thought-provoking wine, mouthfilling, rich and soft, with ripe, peachy, spicy flavours, a hint of apricot, a touch of sweetness (6 grams/litre of residual sugar), and lovely delicacy, depth and harmony. Best drinking 2023+.
