Margrain Cut Cane Martinborough Riesling (2021)

From grapes dehydrated by cutting the vines' canes a month before the harvest, the 2021 vintage (4.5*) is light gold, with a gently honeyed bouquet. Already delicious, it has concentrated peach, apricot and honey flavours, plentiful sweetness (144 grams/litre of residual sugar) and crisp, appetising acidity. Drink now or cellar.
