The refined 2020 vintage (5*) was estate-grown and hand-harvested at Tarras, in the Cromwell Basin, and matured in French oak barrels (20 per cent new). Full, bright ruby, it is fragrant, rich and supple, with vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, gently seasoned with oak, fresh acidity and a silky-textured finish. Still youthful, it is a very elegant red, well worth cellaring to mid-2024+.
