Main Divide Te Hau Reserve North Canterbury Pinot Noir (2020)

Offering fine value, the youthful 2020 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and matured for a year in French oak barriques (30 per cent new). Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling, rich and supple. Already delicious, it has generous, vibrant plum, cherry and spice flavours, with nutty oak adding complexity, and a well-rounded finish. Best drinking 2023+. (From Pegasus Bay.)
