Lawson's Dry Hills Marlborough Riesling (2018)

The youthful 2018 vintage (4*) is a single-vineyard wine, grown in the Waihopai Valley. Light lemon/green, it is medium-bodied, with strong, citrusy, slightly spicy flavours, and an off-dry (8 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp finish. Best drinking 2022+. Retasted in mid-2020, the 2017 vintage (4*) has good intensity of lemon, lime and apple flavours, a touch of bottle-aged complexity, and a crisp, dryish finish.
