From Misha's Vineyard, this red is designed as a 'more upfront, sweet-fruited' style than its similarly priced stablemate, Misha's Vineyard Cantata Pinot Noir. The 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown at Bendigo and matured in French oak hogsheads (9 per cent new). Bright ruby, it is fragrant and savoury, with strong, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing good complexity. Still youthful, it's a very age-worthy wine, likely to be at its best 2022+. Fine value.
