Greywacke Marlborough Pinot Gris (2019)

Grown in Rapaura (mostly) and in the Brancott Valley, the youthful 2019 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked and mostly fermented in old French oak barriques. Bright, light yellow/green, it is a powerful, fleshy wine, with concentrated, ripe, peachy, spicy, slightly gingery flavours, fresh acidity and an off-dry (9 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking 2023+.
