Instantly appealing, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked in the Wairau Valley and Southern Valleys, and fermented in a combination of French oak hogsheads and puncheons, and large (1000 litres) German oak barrels. An elegant, lively wine with a slightly creamy bouquet, it is mouthfilling, with strong, citrusy, gently biscuity flavours and a fresh, crisp, sustained finish.
