Forrest Marlborough Semillon (2021)

The classy, youthful 2021 vintage (5*) is the first release of this label for a decade. Fermented in an old French oak barrique, it’s a very rare wine – only 1200 bottles were produced. Bright, light lemon/green, it is weighty and subtle, with concentrated, well-ripened, tropical fruit flavours, fresh acidity and a long, dry finish. Showing excellent vigour and complexity, it’s well worth cellaring to 2025+.
