Still youthful, the 2017 vintage (5*) was hand-harvested, matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (25 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling, with fresh acidity and dense, well-ripened cherry, plum and spice flavours. Complex and savoury, it's well worth cellaring.
