The 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown in the Stone Vineyard, in the Gimblett Gravels, and matured for two years in French oak barriques (25 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is a very graceful red, full-bodied and fresh, with vigorous blackcurrant, spice, black pepper and nut flavours, rich, ripe and savoury. Still very youthful, it's well worth cellaring to 2024+.
