Dog Point Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir (2019)

This classy, finely structured red is estate-grown on the south side of the Wairau Valley, hand-picked and matured for 18 months in French oak barriques (30 per cent new in 2019). The 2019 vintage (5*) is deep ruby, mouthfilling and supple. Full of cellaring potential, it has rich, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, gently seasoned with nutty oak, and excellent vigour and harmony. Best drinking 2024+. Certified organic.
