New Zealand's most awarded bubbly on the show circuit. This Chardonnay-predominant blend is hand-harvested on the south side of the Wairau Valley, at Renwick Estate and in the Brancott Vineyard, and matured for up to three years on its yeast lees. It is typically a very classy wine with delicate, piercing, lemony, appley flavours, well-integrated yeastiness, and a slightly creamy finish. The bright yellow/green 2018 vintage (5*) reveals excellent richness and complexity, with strong, peachy, citrusy, yeasty flavours and a crisp, dryish, persistent finish.
