Certified organic, the hazy 2022 vintage (3*) is a 'naturally sparkling' wine, 'bottled toward the end of fermentation with its yeast lees to finish fermentation in bottle…' A single-vineyard wine, from Chardonnay grown at Maraekakaho, in Hawke's Bay, it is bright, light yellow, with citrusy, appley fruit characters, not complex, but crisp, lively and flavoursome. Enjoyable young.
