Fragrant, savoury and smooth-flowing, the 2018 vintage (5*) is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (68 per cent), estate-grown in the Redstone Vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle, with Merlot (24 per cent) and Malbec (8 per cent), grown in the Gimblett Gravels. French oak-aged for 20 months, it is dark and purple-flushed, with generous, ripe, plummy, spicy flavours, a hint of dark chocolate, finely balanced tannins and excellent complexity. A classic cellaring style.
