The powerful, graceful 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown in the Redstone Vineyard, in the Bridge Pa Triangle, and matured in French oak barriques (28 per cent new). Perfumed and dark, it is a very classy red, with lush, ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, seasoned with nutty oak, a vague hint of liquorice, fine, supple tannins and a lasting finish. A lovely young red, it should be long-lived.
