The bargain-priced 2021 vintage (4*) of this organically certified red doesn't claim Bannockburn origin on its label, but was estate-grown at three sites in the district. It was matured for seven months in French oak barrels, with no new wood, but use of second and third fill casks. Full, bright ruby, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet, it is mouthfilling and vibrantly fruity, with generous cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing good complexity, fresh acidity and finely balanced tannins. Already enjoyable.
