This label originated in the early 1980s. Handled without oak, the 2021 vintage (4*) was tank-fermented and lees-aged. Full-bodied and basically dry (4.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), it is a pale straw wine with a fresh, peachy, spicy bouquet. Mouthfilling, it is strongly varietal, with strong stonefruit and spice flavours, and a hint of ginger. Enjoyable young.
