This classy, single-vineyard, estate-grown wine is hand-picked from mature vines, planted in 2000, and fermented and matured for up to a year in French oak hogsheads (40 per cent new in 2020). The 2020 vintage (5*) has a fragrant, complex, inviting bouquet. Bright, light yellow/green, it is mouthfilling and fleshy, with deep, ripe stonefruit flavours, complex and savoury, gentle acidity, and a rounded, harmonious, lasting finish. Already delicious, it's also well worth cellaring.
