A 'one-off', the 2018 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked at Queensberry, in the Cromwell Basin, and matured in French oak casks (35 per cent new). Deep and youthful in colour, it is a powerful, sturdy, 'masculine' style of Pinot Noir, with deep, berryish, spicy flavours and a firm backbone of tannin. Best drinking 2024+.
