Estate-grown and hand-picked from 20 year-old vines, the 2021 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked and handled in a mix of tanks (95 per cent) and old oak barrels (5 per cent). Bright, light lemon/green, it is mouthfilling, with strong peach, pear, lychee and spice flavours, showing excellent varietal character, a touch of complexity, and an off-dry (9 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Full of youthful vigour, it should develop well.
