The very classy 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked and matured in French oak barriques (65 per cent new). Likely to be long-lived, it is deeply coloured and highly concentrated, with ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, rich, savoury and complex, and a very long finish. An elegant red with obvious potential, it should be at its best 2025+.
