Currently delicious, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked with some botrytis ('noble rot'), and fermented and matured for eight months in oak barrels (35 per cent new). Light gold, it is weighty, with rich, ripe peach and apricot flavours, hints of ginger and honey, and a sweet (113 grams/litre of residual sugar), very harmonious finish. Drink now or cellar.
