Review:
Estate-grown and hand-harvested in the Joseph Soler vineyard, and fermented in a concrete, egg-shaped vat, the classy 2020 vintage (5*) is still unfolding. Bright, light lemon/green, it is strongly scented and full-bodied, with penetrating, citrusy, slightly spicy flavours, lees-aging notes adding complexity, zesty acidity and a long, dry (2.7 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking 2022+.
