Review:
Deeply coloured, the lovely 2018 vintage (5*) is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (78 per cent), Merlot (14 per cent) and Malbec (8 per cent), matured for 16 months in French oak barriques (35 per cent new). A refined, very youthful red, it is fragrant and full-bodied, with dense, well-ripened blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, finely integrated oak, excellent complexity, and a long life ahead. Best drinking 2023+.
