Review:
For its vintage-to-vintage consistency, this was Te Whau’s finest wine, full of personality, but the 2017 vintage (4.5*) is the last. An elegant wine, it has ripe, peachy flavours, a hint of pear, a subtle seasoning of oak, excellent delicacy, balanced acidity, and a lasting finish. Best drinking 2021+.
