Peregrine Central Otago Pinot Noir

Review:

Outstanding in top seasons, this classic red is estate-grown mostly in the Cromwell Basin but also at Gibbston. The refined 2017 vintage (5*) is a very youthful blend of Bendigo, Pisa and Gibbston grapes, matured for 10 months in French oak barrels. Bright ruby, it is mouthfilling, rich and flowing, with strong, lively cherry, plum and spice flavours, a hint of tamarillo, supple tannins, and a very harmonious finish. Best drinking 2023+. Certified organic.
