Review:
This consistently classy, single-vineyard wine is handled without oak. Attractively scented, the 2019 vintage (5*) is full-bodied, with strong, vibrant, citrusy, peachy, spicy flavours, a slightly salty streak, fresh acidity, and a finely balanced, persistent, dry (4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. A great all-purpose wine. The 2020 vintage (4.5*) is still very youthful. Mouthfilling, it is bright, light yellow/green, with vibrant, ripe stone-fruit and spice flavours, showing a distinct touch of complexity, fresh acidity, and a dry (3 grams/litre of residual sugar), very harmonious finish. Best drinking 2022+.
