Mt Difficulty Long Gully Bannockburn Central Otago Pinot Noir

Review:

From vines planted in 1992, the 2017 vintage (5*) is a single-vineyard red, matured for 15 months in French oak casks (25 per cent new). Deeply coloured, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet, it’s a powerful, classy young red, with deep cherry, plum and spice flavours, finely integrated oak, impressive complexity, and a well-structured, long finish. Best drinking 2022+.
