Review:
The highly impressive 2019 vintage (5*) is a powerful, single-vineyard red, estate-grown and hand-selected from four rows at Bendigo, and matured for 17 months in French oak barriques (one year old). Deep ruby, it is sturdy and highly complex, with very concentrated cherry, plum and spice flavours, nutty and savoury, and finely balanced tannins. Already approachable, it should be at its best 2024+.
