Review:
Classy stuff. Made in a bolder, more upfront style than some past releases, the 2018 vintage (4.5*) was grown at Taradale and in the Gimblett Gravels, partly hand-harvested and fully barrel-fermented (33 per cent new). Pale gold, it is a powerful, fleshy wine, with deep stone-fruit and toasty oak flavours. Best drinking mid-2021+.
