Framingham Noble Riesling

Review:

The 2017 vintage (5*) is an oily-rich, sweet (176 grams/litre of residual sugar), vibrantly fruity wine, handled in a mix of tanks (55 per cent) and barrels (45 per cent). Pale gold, with a green tinge, it has fresh, concentrated lemon, apple, apricot and honey flavours, enriched but not swamped by botrytis, good acid spine, and a very harmonious, lasting finish. Delicious young, it’s a drink-now or cellaring proposition.
