Review:
Delicious now, but also well worth cellaring, the 2017 vintage (5*) is a single-vineyard red, estate-grown at Bannockburn, matured for a year in French oak barrels (24 per cent new), and bottled without fining or filtering. Fragrant, with deep, youthful colour, it is sweet-fruited and concentrated , with layers of flavour, showing excellent complexity, and a long, silky-textured finish. A lovely mouthful.
