Carrick Bannockburn Central Otago Pinot Noir

Review:

A regional classic. Certified organic, the very age-worthy 2017 vintage (5*) was estate-grown and matured in French oak barriques. Full-coloured, it is mouthfilling, concentrated, savoury and structured, with ripe cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, slightly earthy notes adding complexity, real depth through the palate, and a long finish. Best drinking mid-2021+.
