Review:
Offering top value, the 2018 vintage (5*) was estate-grown in Martinborough, hand-picked and matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (25 per cent new). Deep ruby, it has rich, well-ripened, plummy, spicy, nutty flavours, complex and savoury, and a well-structured, long finish. A powerful young red, still very youthful, it’s well worth cellaring to 2023+.
