This highly refined red is rare – only 923 bottles were produced. Hand-harvested, it was matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (33 per cent new). Fragrant, it is deeply coloured and full-bodied, with strong, ripe blackcurrant, red berry, plum and spice flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and a finely textured, lingering finish. Already delicious, it should be at its best 2024+. (From Batch Winery.)
