Already delicious, this fleshy, rich wine is a blend of Merlot (60 per cent) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40 per cent). Grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle and gravelly sites near Roys Hill, it was hand-picked and matured for 20 months in French oak barriques (partly new). Deeply coloured, it is mouthfilling, savoury and supple, with a lovely spread of ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, hints of coffee and liquorice, and a finely structured, very harmonious finish.
